Highland County Special Olympics travels to Value City Arena for 2017 Special Skills Basketball Invitational Sept. 29

Highland County Special Olympics was invited to the 2017 Special Skills Basketball Invitational held at Value City Arena located on the campus of Ohio State University on Sept. 29.

Highland County athletes, along with athletes from other counties across Ohio, participated in various basketball drills instructed by OSU coaches and players.

After drills were completed the athletes took a tour of the arena, mens locker room, weight room, trophy room and the different courts at the facility.

The day was a fun filled adventure for Special Olympics athletes from across the state and demonstrates OSU’s dedication to the Special Olympics community and the athletes involved.
