All-District first and second team baseball selections were announced Tuesday. Highland County was well represented in the announced selections with six players on the first team list, three on the second team list and six players earning honorable mention across D I and II, D III and D IV.
Representing Hillsboro in D II Luke Magulac earned first team honors, Ethan Watson was selected to the second team and Payton Bell received honorable mention.
In D III Blake Croy, of Lynchburg-Clay, was selected as a member of the first team and Drew Pitzer received honorable mention.
Whiteoak led the way in D IV as Evan Brill, Traeten Hamilton and Caleb West were selected as members of the first team. Chase Carraher was selected as a member of the second team and Trever Yeager and Mason Lehr each received honorable mention.
Also in D IV the Fairfield Lions are represented on the first team by Sam Buddelmeyer while Austin Setty was selected as a member of the second team. Cody Gragg and Matthew Spears each received honorable mention.
