HHS girls 10th, boys 21st and Cedarville Invite

The Hillsboro boys and girls cross country teams finished 21st and 10th, respectively, at the Cedarville Friendship Cross Country Invite.

There were a total of 22 boys teams and 15 girls teams.

Hillsboro junior Emily Letts and sophomore Ramsey Haines led the Lady Indians, finished 30th and 31st, respectively in the 154 runner girls field, with sixth/tenths of a second separating them.

Freshman Corbine Winkle led the Hillsboro by placing 103rd in a field of 280 runners.

Letts, 30th, 23:39.3; Haines, 31st, 23:39.9; sophomore Bree Bailey, 44th, 24:35.1; junior Brooklynn Minton, 81st, 26:41.2; sophomore Brooklynn Lucarello, 93rd, 27:51.7; Freshman Abby Letts, 99th, 28:29.9; sophomore Alison Browning, 105th, 28:54.0; freshman Halle Jones, 131st, 33:41.1; sophomore Keyle Johnson, 147th, 39:36.1.

Full individual results for the Hillsboro boys were as follows: Winkle, 103rd, 20:33.4; junior Garrett Thompson, 114th, 20:46.3; freshman Chris Sowders, 175th, 22:19.7; freshman Curtis Pegram, 230th, 24:46.3; sophomore Noah Vaughn, 240th, 25:37.9; sophomore Jacob Schommer, 257th, 27:30.2.
