LC jumps three spots in poll

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs continue to have a stellar 2016 season and have jumped up three spots in the latest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Division III Coaches Poll to number seven in the state. Last week they were ranked tenth.

When the ranking were made, the Lady Mustangs were 8-0-0 and have beaten Hillsboro High School, a Division II school, to improve their record to an undefeated 9-0-0 on the year.

Lynchburg received 38 points in this latest poll, right behind sixth place Summit Country Day (5-3-0) with 39. The Lady Mustangs will host Summit on Saturday, October 8. The overall number one team in Div. III is Gilmour Academy (7-0-0) with 99 points.

This is the fourth poll of the season with the next one set to be released October 3.
