Coach Robert MacLeod enters his second year of coaching the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs golf team and according to coach, the girls are growing every day.

“We have not won a match as of yet this year, but these girls are growing more and more every game we play.” said Coach MacLeod.

The Lady Mustangs have a total of seven girls on the team and will be moving into their second year of having their own Southern Hills League Athletic Conference Tournament.

There are two seniors on the team, Shannon MacLeod and Honor Walker.

“We are still building the team this year, getting the girls some more experience and improving every day,” Coach MacLeod said of the upcoming season. “I don’t how well we will do as the season goes along, but these girls have been working hard and will continue to do so and we will give our best every time we go out on the course. It has been an honor working with these girls for a second year.”
