Lady Indians loaded with experiece for 2015

Heading into her second year at Hillsboro coaching cross country is Lady Indians coach Olivia Fulton. This year she will have a very senior heavy group of girls with four of the five girls on the team in their final year.

The seniors are Reaghan Haines, Lizzie Tamborski, Caitlin Foley and Madi St. Clair.

Of those two seniors, Haines and Tamborski will most likely be the top competitors for the team. In 2014, Haines earned first-team All-South Central Ohio League honors and Tamborski was named second-team All-SCOL. According to coach Fulton, these two will lead the team not only in meets competitionwise, but also with their senior leadership.

Coach Fulton is also hoping to get this group into and through district meet at Rio Grande.

“I believe these girls can do well in the league this year and make it all the way through districts,” Fulton said. “They will have to continue to work as hard as they have been and we are able to stay healthy throughout the year.”

The girls will run in their first meet this Saturday, Aug. 29 at Wilmington College.
