The Hillsboro volleyball team was a force to be reckoned with on Thursday night, as they swept Wilmington in three straight games to improve to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in South Central Ohio League play on the season.

Scores of the sets were 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

“Overall, the coaches are very proud of the girls tonight,” said Lady Indians coach Nicole Dickey. “The girls are playing really well at this point in the season. They served really well tonight and served it almost 89%.

“Madison Snyder had some really good passes to target tonight and she also served at about 94%.

“The girls played really well as a team tonight and if they keep playing this well together, it’s going to be an awesome season.”
