Fairfield, Hillsboro win meet

The annual Highland County Cross Country meet was held on Tuesday evening at Fairfield High School.

The Fairfield boys won the boys portion of the race placing the first seven runners and earning a low score of 15.

In the girls portion of the High School race, Hillsboro won with a low score of 39.

Individually, Fairfield’s Matthew Magus finished first overall with a time of 17:05 and Hillsboro’s Reaghan Haines finished first for the girls crossing the line at 22:01.

In the middle school race, Cannon Woolridge of McClain won the boys race and Magarah Bloom won the girls.
