Loretta Marie Addington, 85, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Adena Fayette Medical Center in Washington C.H.

She was born March 15, 1936, in La Follette, Tennessee, the daughter of James and Betty (Walden) Leach.

Loretta was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, George Richard Addington, whom she married on May 7, 1955; one son, David (Reta) Addington of Greenfield; two daughters, Rhonda (Chuck) Conley of Beavercreek and Dawn (John) Swift of Leesburg; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lou Anna Clouser of South Salem and Pauline Judy of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Ann Addington; one sister, Norma McCoy; and both parents.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 at Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
