Helen Marie Hartman passed away April 10, 2022, at Bethesda North Hospital.

She was born Jan. 25, 1933, in Camden, Ohio to the late Oscar and Emily (Lipps) Morris.

On June 2, 1951, she was united in marriage to Marion Hartman of Eaton, Ohio at the Camden Methodist Church. They relocated to their farm near Hillsboro, Ohio in 1970.

Helen was a graduate of Camden High School. She was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Samaritan Outreach Services Food Pantry, the oncology department of Highland District Hospital and Community Care Hospice.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; her daughter, Sarah Hartman; and two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by daughters, Jo Anne Schnebly (Steve) in Iowa, Emily Peinsipp (Bob) in Illinois and Amy Hartman in Indiana; four grandchildren, Shawn Hamilton (Heather) in Minnesota, Andrew Schnebly (Ally) in Iowa, Susan Peinsipp in Illinois and Ben Peinsipp in Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Jadyn and Jaci Hamilton, and Kolton and Kayson Schnebly; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill Duncanson of Utah.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. Pastor Dr. Derek Russell officiating with interment in the High Top Cemetery in Penn Township.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Helen may be made to the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church Music Department, 133 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
