0

National FFA week is an event in which FFA members do a variety of activities to show their love for agriculture. The Hillsboro FFA students dressed up for different themes each day of the week on Feb. 22-27. On Monday, the students dressed in red, white and blue for Merica’ Monday. On Tuesday, they wore farming attire for Dress Like A Farmer Tuesday. On Wednesday, they showed their love for FFA by wearing either blue and gold or FFA clothing as well as boots. Thursday, students were able to bring their love for the show ring to school by wearing flannels and/or showmanship attire. Friday, students wore the National FFA official dress to work at a teacher appreciation lunch to give a thanks to the teachers at Hillsboro High School and to show their appreciation for the many days the FFA members miss their classes for FFA-related events. Pictured, left to right, are Morgan Kelly, Lexey Hetzel, Taylor Chaney, Madison Stratton and Madison Snyder.
