The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Gregory Shane Wallace, 20, of Hillsboro, failure to appear and warrant for obstruction.

Mandy Wages, 37, of Leesburg, citation for driving under suspension.

Travis Captain, 34, of Hillsboro, citation for driving under suspension and failure to file registration.

Susan Harmon, 54, of Leesburg, citation for insufficient headlights.

Tina Economidis, 50, of Hillsboro, citation for failure to obey traffic control device.

Jamie Lyle, 37, of Hillsboro, citation for failure to obey traffic control device.

Charles George, 24, of Hillsboro, citation for speed — 54/35.

Samantha Dilley, 22, of Sabina, citation for assured cleared distance.

Jeremy Stacy, 31, of Greenfield, citation for driving under suspension.

Donald Vanzant, 90, of Hillsboro, failure to yield when turning left.

Jeffrey Fulkerson, 45, of Hillsboro, citation for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.

Keith Glenn, 27, of Hillsboro, citation for license plate light.

ACCIDENTS

On Friday, June 10 at 1:27 p.m. the police department responded to a two-vehicle crash on North West Street at Chariss Drive. Upon investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Charles White of Hillsboro was southbound and stopped at the traffic light to turn left. A vehicle operated by Caleb Caplinger of New Vienna struck the White vehicle in the rear. There was minor damage to both vehicles. Caplinger was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

On Friday, June 10 at 1:54 p.m. the police department responded to a three-vehicle crash with minor injuries on North West Street south of Pea Ridge Road. A vehicle operated by Briana Watson, Hillsboro, was stopped in traffic in the southbound lane of North West Street as was a vehicle operated by Carol Bolling of Hillsboro. A third vehicle operated by Samantha Dilly of Hillsboro was also southbound and struck the rear of the Bolling vehicle causing it to strike the Watson vehicle. Bolling and a passenger in her vehicle, Brookyn Wooten of Hillsboro, claimed injury but were not immediately treated for injuries. The Dilly and Bolling vehicles had functional damage while the Watson vehicle sustained minor damage. Caplinger was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

ARRESTS

Caleb Caplinger, 19, of New Vienna, was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

Jesse Underwood, 47, of Hillsboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Joseph Sandlin, 32, of Peebles, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear out of Hillsboro Municipal Court.
