The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs charged to yet another road win Thursday night against the Ripley Lady Jays with a final score of 63-28, taking the girls to an undefeated record in-conference and overall (2-0, 5-0, respectively).
Lynchburg snatched the lead in the first quarter with an 18-point gain to Ripley’s 7 points and kept it until the end of the game.
The first half ended with the Lady Mustangs on top 28-12.
Lynchburg kept it coming in the third quarter, fighting off a 10-point gain from Ripley with a 16-point gain for themselves. Both teams scored low in the fourth quarter, with Lynchburg taking 9 points and Ripley taking 6, but the Lady Mustangs still came out with the win at 63-28 when the clock ran out.
