The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Dec. 5

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Wanda Walls, 48, of Amelia, was cited for use of unauthorized plates.

Justin Spears, 18, of Hillsboro, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Dec. 6

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Morgan Brickey, 22, of Hillsboro, was cited for speed and no operator’s license.

Christopher Owens, 31, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.

ACCIDENT

A report was received of a crash on U.S. Route 62. After officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Feliecha Minton was stopped in traffic for a red light when a vehicle operated by Caden Hess was unable to stop in time and struck the Minton vehicle in the rear causing minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. One citation was issued.
