Home Health Services of Highland District Hospital staff members gathered Wednesday for a proclamation naming Nov. 13-19 as Home Care Aide Week, as well as a proclamation naming November as National Home Care Month. HDH’s home care service provides “front line care” to people allowing them to remain independent as long as possible. HDH’s service has been named to the Top 500 of the 2016 HomeCare Elite, a recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States, for four consecutive years.
