Highland Co. Animal Shelter Pet of the Week

0

The Highland Humane Society Pet of the Week is Miss Lyn, a 4-year-old spayed female pit bull. Miss Lyn was surrendered by an elderly person who has become ill and unable to care for her anymore. She is a low key dog who is used to the slow life. She is used to living inside the house, is housebroken and probably would do best as an only pet. If you could give Miss Ly, or any of the other dogs and cats at the shelter, a good home, contact the shelter 937-393-2110. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from noono to 5 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday. The shelter’s next Rascal Unit, a low cost spay, neuter mobile unit that the Highland Humane Society brings to the Leesburg Fire Department (back building), every couple of months, is June 27. It also performs some surgeries and shots for dogs and cats. If you are interested in bringing your dog or cat in, you must contact the Highland County Humane Society, make an appointment, and pay for the service in advance.
