McClain art students win Best Buy contest


Best Buy Motors in Hillsboro recently awarded $3,200 to local school districts during a contest to see which school’s art department could come up with the best design for holiday decorations at the business located at 510 Harry Sauner Rd. The contest was open to all public school districts in Highland County plus the Hillsboro Christian Academy. The first place prize of $1,500 went to McClain High School (pictured above). Second place and $1,000 went to Hillsboro High School, third place and $500 to the Hillsboro Christian Academy and fourth place and $200 to Fairfield High School. Those four were the only schools that entered the contest.
