Wilmington man dies in crash

The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one-vehicle crash involving one fatal injury.

On Sunday, March 21,at approximately 3:33 p.m., Todd Bonham, 55, of Wilmington, was operating a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette southbound on S.R. 380 in Chester Township, Clinton County. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and stuck a tree before Bonham was completely ejected from the vehicle.

Bonham was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

No drugs or alcohol are suspected at this time.

The state patrol was assisted by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Chester Township Fire Department.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
