The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Donna Gray, 50, of Kentucky, was cited for speed.

Nicholas Kumpf, 21, of Batavia, was cited for driving under suspension and lanes of travel.

David Sexton, 41, of New Vienna, was arrested for assault.

ACCIDENT

On Dec. 13 at approximately 4:43 p.m., the police department responded to the area of North High Street and Fenner Avenue for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival it was determined that Bailey Michael, 18, of Sabin,a was driving behind a vehicle driven by Kirsten Harp, 20, of Hillsboro, who was stopped at the intersection when Michael failed to keep an assured clear distance ahead, causing him to strike Harp’s vehicle in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on the scene. Michael was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
