Clarksville man injured in fatal crash

The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday on Harveysburg Road north of Wilmington Road in Warren County that left a Clarksville man with serious injuries.

At 12:05 p.m., the Lebanon Highway Patrol Post was notified of a one-vehicle serious injury crash on Wilmington Road. Upon arriving on scene, units found one of the occupants was deceased and the other occupant was suffering life threatening injuries.

A 2005 Chevrolet was southbound on Harveysburg Road. The vehicles’s right side tires were drove off the right side of the roadway. The driver over corrected, lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top, in the roadway. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle, according to the state patrol.

A female was identified as 42-year-old Abby Lee Brown, of Xenia, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. A male occupant was 30-year-old Richard Sholler Jr., of Clarksville, who was found suffering from life threatening injuries. Medics on scene performed CPR and were able to regain a pulse. Sholler Jr. was transported by CareFlight medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton with life threatening injuries.

Troopers were assisted on scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
