Fairfield helps at Ag Is Everyone’s Business

Members of the Fairfield FFA attended and also worked recently at the Highland County Chamber of Commerce Ag is Everyone’s Business event held at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro. While there the chapter’s members, along with other FFA chapters from the county, were put to work serving breakfast and coffee. This also included the set up and cleanup of the event. After the meal, guest speaker David Daniels, director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, and keynote speaker John Phipps, gave speeches on how agriculture is important to the future of the community and also how it has built the community up over the past couple of years. The event ended with an auction of tractor memorabilia.
