Marcia Louise Collins Doll, 79, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1942, in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wallace James and Mary H. Dennis Collins.

Marcia was retired as a tax processor in Florida. She was a 1960 graduate of Hillsboro High School and had been active in Girl Scouts, dance school, mixed chorus, majorettes and cheerleading in school. She enjoyed golfing, swimming, reading, and most of all she loved hanging out with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Denise L. (Mike) Carlo, Robby (Sonya) Blankenship, James Ricky (Michiyo Shinjo) Doll and Kathy A. Doll; nine grandchildren, Holly (Mike) Dobie, Kevin (Amparo Alonso) Claypool, Brian (Lauria Valentine) Claypool, R. J. (Tiffany) Blankenship, Ashley Blankenship, Rebecca Doll (Logan) Tyler, Vanessa Doll, Patrick Fey and Brittany Fey; and seven great-grandchildren, Riley Dobie, Isabel Claypool, Lucas Claypool, Benjamin Claypool, Layla-Jewel Claypool, Randee Blankenship, and Aleena Rose.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard M. Blankenship and William C. Doll; one sister, Karen Ann (Edward) Osborne’ and stepfather, Nelson B. High.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Father Mike Paraniuk will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
