The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 7

INCIDENTS

At 2:53 a.m. the police department responded to Holtfield Station, a business located in the 600 block of South High Street, after receiving a report of an unknown male that took merchandise without paying for it. After officer investigation, the unknown male was located at a vacant residence in the 300 block of South High Street and identified as Nathan Lydick, 41, of Columbus. Lydick was arrested, transported to the Highland County Justice Center, and is being charged with theft.

At 3:08 p.m. the police department took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 300 block of South High Street. A report was taken and the vehicle was to be entered into a law enforcement data system. At 8:45 p.m. the victim contacted the police department advising the vehicle was at a residence in the 400 block of East Main Street. The vehicle was located and after further investigation Mark Baldrick, 24, of Cincinnati, was located at a residence in the 300 block of South High Street. Baldrick was arrested, transported to the Highland County Justice Center, and is being charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

William Joseph Hamm, 36, of Blanchester, failure to appear bench warrant.

Jack G. Little Jr., 39, of Hillsboro, failure to appear bench warrant.

James A. Bettle, 33, of Ashley, failure to appear bench warrant.

Cheyanne M. Daugherty, 23, of Greenfield, failure to appear bench warrant.

Kevin S. Milburn, 43, of Hillsboro, assault and criminal trespass.
