The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

STATISTICS

The statistics for the week beginning Monday, July 17, Through Sunday, July 23, 2017 are as follows: The HPD received 443 calls, four of which were 911 calls, investigated 17 crashes, took 24 offense reports, made 28 arrests, and completed 62 security checks.

July 21

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jesse Allen Roades, 28, Sardinia, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear.

Ernest Gibson, 59, Piketon, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Richard James Weidlich, 25, Columbus, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant for failure to appear.

Milissa Kinney, 38, Hillsboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct by fighting.

Alicia Gray, 42, Hillsboro, was arrested for disorderly conductby fighting.

Kari Singleton, 29, Hillsboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct by fighting.

July 22

ACCIDENT

On Saturday, July 22, the HPD investigated a crash on Pea Ridge Road. Curtis Deck, 45 of Wilmington, was sitting in eastbound traffic on Pea Ridge when his vehicle was struck in the rear. Wesley Shelton, 39, of Lynchburg, was traveling eastbound and failed to stop in time and struck the Deck vehicle. Functional damage was reported to Shelton’s 2017 Chevrolet. Wesley Shelton was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

July 23

ACCIDENT

On Sunday, July 23, the HPD investigated a crash on North West Street at Harry Sauner Road. Alicia Alexander, 31, Hillsboro, was traveling northbound on North West Street at the intersection of Harry Sauner Road. David Cooper, 65, Seaman, was traveling southbound on North West and was attempting to make a left turn onto Harry Sauner, and turned into the path of northbound traffic, causing the collision. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles, David Cooper was cited for failure to yield.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Kera Jean Garner, 18, Hillsboro, was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct.
