The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 2

ACCIDENT

The police department investigated a crash on Harry Sauner Road. Mary Shepard, 77, of Hillsboro, and Barron Singleton, 34, of Dayton, were westbound in vehicles when traffic began to slow. Shepard was unable to stop her vehicle in time and struck the vehicle operated by Barron Singleton causing functional damage to both vehicles. Shepard was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Nov. 3

ACCIDENT

The police department responded to the call of a crash in the 600 block of North High Street. Shelby Bingaman, 17, of Seaman, who was unable to stop her vehicle in time to avoid colliding with Frederick Reynolds, 67, of Wilmington, which caused his vehicle to strike a third vehicle operated by Rebecca Evans, 34, of Hillsboro. Both the Reynolds and Evans vehicles received functional damage while the vehicle operated by Bingaman received disabling damage. Bingaman was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Charles Brown, 65, of Leesburg, was stopped in northbound traffic in the 200 block of South High Street when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Roger Braum, 63, of Hamersville. Light damage was reported to both vehicles.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jeremy Collett, 40, of Winchester, was arrested for theft and possessing drug abuse instruments.

Lisa Redman, 57, of Hillsboro, was arrested for criminal trespassing.

ARREST

Shy Ray-Ann Bowling, 19, of Hillsboro, was arrested for domestic violence.

Nov. 5

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jason Rogers, 31, of New Vienna, was arrested for domestic violence.

Daniel Gregory, 32, of Hillsboro, was arrested for domestic violence, domestic violence with the threat of imminent harm, aggravated menacing and using weapons while intoxicated.

Candice Johnson, 33, of Monroe, was cited for expired tags.

Nov. 6

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Travis Van Frank, 40, of Hillsboro, was arrested for two counts of criminal mischief and theft.

Jamie Milby, 35, of Hillsboro, was arrested for child endangerment.

Joseph Hughes, 39, of Bainbridge, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

ACCIDENT

The police department investigated a crash in the 900 block of North High Street. Dorian Stewart, 17, of Hillsboro, was northbound in a vehicle on North High Street and failed to stop in time before striking a vehicle operated by Marlyn Johnson, 61, of Washington C.H. Both vehicles reported light damage. Dorian Steward was cited for assured clear distance ahead and no operator’s license.
