Bill and Sharon Sibrel will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on August 9, 2015.
They were married Aug. 9, 1965 in Sparta, N.C. Sharon is the secretary at Lynchburg-Clay High School, and Bill is a farmer and the owner/operator of Sibrel Excavation Co., Inc.
They are the parents of two daughters, Trisha (Ed Barber) Mabry and Tracy (Mike) Cornett. They have five grandchildren: Paige Hoop, Halie Frazier, Gavin Frazier, Ashton Frazier and Colton Frazier. The other special family member is Jasper, their yellow lab.
