William and Carmen (Stroemer) Bourne were joined by their family to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at Woodlawn Farm, where they renewed their wedding vows.
The vows were followed by a luncheon and a time for visiting.
The Bournes were married in the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church on Aug. 20, 1955, with the Rev. Francis Malzard officiating.
They have a daughter, Laura (Brian) Johnson; son, Steven (deceased) and daughter-in-law, Darlene Bourne; and grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Michael Johnson and Tyler Bourne.
