Wish comes true for Laurel residents

The Laurels of Hillsboro has partnered with National Cooperative Bank (NCB) and the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation to award two special guests at The Laurels of Hillsboro with the annual Wish Comes True award. Tom Lucas and Gail Ingalsbe were chosen as the recipients of the $250 award to spend as they wish. Both recipients chose to have a shopping spree at Hobby Lobby so they could get supplies to be able to do what they love – make crafts. “It was such a fun day,” Ingalsbe stated. The guests, escorted by Laurel staff members Kelley Condo, activities director, and Twana Camp, RN, took a full day trip to Cincinnati, shopped at Hobby Lobby, then ate lunch at Steak ‘n Shake.
