Spark! Creative Artspace will stage its third annual Roots in the Field Music Fest on Saturday, April 16 at the VFW Ranch, 12868 Watt Rd., Greenfield. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature continuous musical entertainment, food and drink until 11 p.m.
This year the event has been expanded to include five different area bands and performers. The band Cactus will kick things off at 4 p.m. followed by Morgan, Hadden & Moon, Johnny the Fox Band, The One Damns, and Taking Back Summer.
Beverages will again be provided by Sawyer Man’s Fans and Three Spoons Diner will cater the food with a menu of ribeye steak sandwiches, Italian sausage sandwiches, burgers, dogs and a variety of side dishes.
Admission is $10 per person and participants should bring their favorite lawn chair and proper clothing should the weather turn chilly. Should it rain the activities will move inside the ranch’s building. No food or coolers will be permitted. Children are welcome, but you must be 21 years of age to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
