Six members of the Hillsboro FFA chapter recently walked across the stage at the 88th Ohio FFA State Convention and Expo to receive their State FFA Degrees – the highest degree each state has to offer and one step away from receiving the highest degree the National FFA has to offer which is the American degree. To be eligible to receive the State FFA Degree a member must meet the following minimum qualifications: have received the Chapter FFA degree, earned and productively invested at least $1,000, demonstrated leadership ability, and participated in at least 25 hours of community service. This year’s Hillsboro recipients are pictured (left to right, top row to bottom) Chase Colliver, Kaleb Harp, Mikala Waller, Emily Earley, Mackenzie Oglesby and Peyton Kidder.
