Paint with Palette at SOS

Samaritan Outreach Services will host a Paint with Palette fundraiser on Friday, July 1 from 6-9 p.m. at its new Uptown Community Room located at 110 S. High St. in Hillsboro. The event will be the first fundraiser at the new uptown venue and takes place during the annual Festival of the Bells weekend.

Paint with Palette is a Columbus based company founded by two Highland County natives. Kristen Gustin Carter and Kara Gustin Dame, sisters from Leesburg, started the company just over a year ago and have recently expanded their paint party business to both Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

“We’re happy to bring one of our events home to Highland County. Samaritan Outreach does so much to support the community, and we’re happy to give back,” said company co-owner Carter.

The painting event will be lead by Carter and will feature a painting of the Highland County Courthouse surrounded by fireworks in the night sky. The class includes all supplies and refreshments.

To register for the event, visit the Samaritan Outreach website at www.ourpantry.org. For additional information call Samaritan at 937-393-2220.
