Local Boy Scouts served as the Color Guard for the opening ceremony of the Festival of the Bells.

The mother-daughter team of Jennie Nickell and Kalesta Nickell, representing the Hillsboro Family Dentistry team, won the “Grocery Games” challenge on Thursday. They and other winners donated their prizes to local food pantries.
