Weekend barn fire total loss

The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District put out a barn fire over the weekend with mutual aid from the Marshall Township Fire Department. According to Branden Jackman, public information officer for Paint Creek, firefighters responded to the fire around 3 p.m. Sunday. Jackman said the barn, belonging to Virginia Banks of Hillsboro, was a total loss. According to Jackman, the fire was ruled accidental, and there were no injuries to owner or firefighters on the scene.
