Pet of the Week

0

The Highland County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Linus. He is a 7-month-old shepherd Mix. Linus is very energetic as he stands quiet and watches what’s going on while all the other dogs bark and carry on. He is calm and doesn’t jump all over people. When he is being trained to walk on a leash, he lays down with all four of his feet sticking straight up in the air and on his back side. He does this because he wants a long, gentle belly rub. Linus is a friendly people dog and gets along with the other dogs in the kennel. If you think you could give Linus a forever home, or you would like to see any of the other dogs or cats we have, the Highland County Humane Society Animal Shelter located at 9331 SR 124, east of Hillsboro. For more information call 937-393-2110.
