
There were no injuries in a three-car collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of West Main and South Elm streets in Hillsboro. Adam Day, an officer with the Hillsboro Police Department, told The Times-Gazette at the scene that Erica Doss, 46, Hillsboro, was headed eastbound on Main Street toward the center of Hillsboro in a tan Chevy Cavalier (not pictured) when she ran a red light, struck a blue minivan headed southbound on Elm Street, which in turn struck a white pickup truck in the oncoming lane. The Hillsboro PD and Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District responded to the crash around 4 p.m., Day said, and the scene was cleared by 4:30 p.m. Doss will be cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, according to Day.
