Thomas will speak at Aglow

The public is invited to attend the Hillsboro Aglow International Lighthouse on Monday, March 27 for a light supper, worship, inspirational speaker and prayer.

This month’s speaker is Kristina Thomas, a native of Leesburg. Thomas has a passion for writing, speaking and mentoring women so they can become all God created them to be. The meeting will be held at the Common Ground Community Church Fellowship Hall, 7406 Mad River Road, Hillsboro. A light meal begins at 6:30 p.m. with the worship starting at 7 p.m.

Thomas currently lives in Clermont County and is a quality process manager for Delta Private Jets. Her true passion comes through sharing the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. In Thomas’ first book. “Living Free,” she shares 10 true stories of how people have discovered freedom from addictions and hurtful pasts. She writes an inspirational blog at www.elliemaysgarden.com. In January 2017, Thomas added to her social media presence by launching a series entitled “Coffee with Kris” where people share their testimonies through video chats.

In addition to her writing ministry, Thomas has also served as a guardian ad litem for children in the protective services system through the CASA of Clermont County and witnessed first-hand the challenges society is facing as an increasing number of children are being placed in foster care due to the heroin epidemic. She has a dream to start a rehab facility with an adjacent orphanage to face this challenge head-on.
