The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

March 12

ACCIDENT

At 4:44 p.m., the police department responded to a crash in the northbound lane in the 1200 block of North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that Ronnie J. Vanderpool, 34, of Lebanon, operating a 2001 Ford coupe, struck the rear of Brittany C. Patton, 24, of Hillsboro, operating a 2012 Doge sedan. Vanderpool was cited for assured cleared distance and driving under suspension.

STATISTICS

During the week of Monday March 6 at midnight until Sunday, March 12 at midnight, the police department received 380 total calls, nine 911 calls, completed 11 crash reports, completed 12 incident reports, made 29 arrests, five of which were drug related.
