The Ashland Invitational was held March 18 and the McClain FFA Chapter was represented at the contest in the General Livestock, Equine, Poultry, and Wildlife Interpretation portions of the contest. These spring career development events allow the members to effectively make decisions and be confident in those choices. The McClain FFA General Livestock judging team placed second. Madison Schumacher was the highest individual on the team, placing second overall. The Equine Management team placed fifth. The Poultry judging team placed eighth. The Wildlife Interpretation team placed 212st. The chapter appreciates those from Ashland County who put on the contest for better preparing the members for the state competition.
