Rachael Soards, McClain High School art teacher, recently held a portrait-drawing contest. Sophomore Ke’ya Torrence placed first out of approximately 150 portraits with her drawing of Wyatt Myers. She received a box full of art supplies. The second-place winner was Noel Brooks, and third place went to Sabrina Yates, who drew Kyler Highley.
