Leesburg Library May events


The May events calendar at the Leesburg Branch Library is listed below:

Thursdays in May – Knit Together meets from 5:30-7 p.m. Bring whatever project you are working on and join us for conversation and knitting. Beginners are welcome!

Monday, May 8 through Saturday, May 13 there will be book sale with books, DVDs, toys, magazines and more for purchase. Please come and take a look.

Thursday, May 11t – Sparx (teen book club) meets at 5:30 p.m. The group is always looking for new members, so feel free to join them for some lively discussion.

Saturday, May 13 – Patio dedication at 10:30 a.m. John Grimm will be turning over his Eagle Scout Project to the Leesburg Branch Library. Everyone is welcome.

Thursday, May 18 — RRR (adult book discussion group) meets at 1:30 p.m. at The Willows in Washington Court House (this month only).

Saturday, May 20 – Summer Reading Kickoff. Join us from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for hot dogs, summer reading sign up, fun and prizes.

Thursdays in May — Storytimes for Wee Ones (6-36 months) at 10 a.m. and Tater Tots (3-5 years) at 10:30 a.m. Topics this month include: farms, Mother’s Day, summer reading fun and building a better world.
