The McClain High School class of 1962 gathered on Sept. 30, 2017 for its 55-year reunion.
Twenty-two classmates and their guests were treated to a tour of the high school, followed by touring the historic buildings in Greenfield and a catered dinner served at the Emmanuel Church, followed by introductions.
Each classmate shared their address where they resided at the time of graduation as well as a memory from their high school days. Letters were read from those unable to attend.
A reading of the class history, class prophecy and class will provided amusement for everyone.
Names were drawn for door prizes and an auction was held with items donated by attendees. A tribute to deceased classmates was shared.
Table decorations included individual candy bars wrapped in purple and foil embossed with 1962. The remainder of the evening was spent socializing and reminiscing over the displays of memorabilia from high school years.
