The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently participated in the Sub-District and District Job Interviews Contests. The Sub-District contest was held Nov. 6 and hosted by the McClain FFA Chapter. The Hillsboro FFA was well represented by five members and three of them advanced to the district. “ This is a great opportunity that will help prepare me for a real job interview,” said Larkyn Parry. On Nov. 9 the Hillsboro FFA hosted the District Job Interview Contest. Madison Stratton, Jonathon Hatfield and Jaiden Hughes represented the chapter. Hughes got third overall for Division II. Job Interview is a great way for students to learn how to make a resume, cover letter, follow-up letter, and how to master the interview process. The students are learning valuable life skills that will help them in life now and later. “I wish I would have done job interview sooner,” said Madison Stratton. The Hillsboro FFA would like to thank all the teachers, staff, judges and parents for their help. Pictured, from left, are Madison Stratton, Jonathon Hatfield and Jaiden Hughes.
