Adena Health System and Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) have partnerrd in providing patients in Fayette County with expanded pulmonary services. Adena pulmonologists will now see patients at FCMH, located in Washington C.H.

Since August 2017, Adena and FCMH have collaborated to increase other medical services in the region, beginning with orthopedics.

Adena’s pulmonology team is committed to delivering the most advanced and innovative care and treatment to patients in the system’s western region (Fayette and Highland counties). Patients will be able to see a pulmonologist within or near their hometown of Washington C.H. for various pulmonary diseases and sleep conditions including: asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer diagnosis and more.

“It is most advantageous to patients to receive the care they need in a setting that is close to home,” said Adena Chief Physician Executive and Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Fortney. “By partnering with Fayette County Memorial Hospital, Adena is able to provide patients in and around Fayette County with high quality, specialty care for pulmonary illness and disease. We are excited to provide patients with the care they need without having to travel to metropolitan areas.”

“Fayette County Memorial Hospital and Adena Bone and Joint Center teamed up recently and we are already seeing great success and positive patient outcomes,” added FCMH President and CEO Mike Diener. “Using a similar model, we are excited to be able to expand services for our patients to include much-needed pulmonary care and treatment.”

Existing FCMH patients will be given the option to smoothly transition to an Adena pulmonologist on the FCMH campus. Adena Pulmonary Specialists Rajinish Jesudoss, MD; Nickolas Fouladpour, MD; and Haval M. Saadlla, MD, will see patients in Suite 106 of FCMH’s Medical Arts Building #1.
