Students at Greenfield Elementary recently finished a community service project called “Love Letters To The Elderly.” All students in grades 2-5 made Valentine’s Day cards for the residents of local nursing homes that were supposed to be delivered with area Meals on Wheels deliveries. “The children were excited to hopefully bring a smile to the area senior citizens,” the school said. Some of the students are shown with local nursing home staff.
