In celebration of the 125th anniversary of the charter for Waw-wil-a-way Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Regent Jane Stowers announced that the chapter is placing the most recent file, containing the names and information of the known Revolutionary War veterans buried in Highland County, in the library of the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society for safe keeping. The file was compiled and researched over many years by chapter member Marianna Morgan. The files were then shared with chapter member Patricia Young, who indexed the names, updated the files and continued writing the quarterly articles in the SOGS newsletter. Pictured, from left, are Mary Hawthorne, SOGS librarian; Dwight Crum, SOGS president; Jane Stowers, DAR regent; and Patricia Young.
