The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Jan. 26

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Leslie Simpson, 36, of New Vienna, was cited for OVI and driving under suspension.

Abdoulie Baldeh, 23, of Columbus, was arrested for theft.

Cheikh Dieye, 22, of Reynoldsburg was arrested for theft.

INCIDENT

A report was received of a theft from a business in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road. Two subjects were later apprehended and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

Jan. 27

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Zachary Docter, 28, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Amber Frazer, 31, of Hillsboro, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

INCIDENTS

A report was received of a theft from a business in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road. The incident remains under investigation.

A report was received of a theft from a residence in the 100 block of West Main Street. The incident remains under investigation.

Jan. 28

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Velvet Frye, 61, of Hillsboro, was cited for improper backing.

Ashley Payne, 38, of Hillsboro, was cited for driving under suspension.

Michael Kaufman, 67, of Hillsboro, was arrested for obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

INCIDENT

A report was received of a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of Cedar Woods Drive. The incident is under investigation.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Derick Ritze, 34, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.

Jan. 30

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Stephen Weil, 36, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear.

Robert Emmert, 36, of Hillsboro, was cited for speed.
