The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Jan. 29

ACCIDENT

At 3:08 p.m., Angela Ferneau, 51, of Greenfield, was stopped in her vehicle with traffic on West Main Street at the intersection of West Street. A 16-year-old male from New Vienna was traveling eastbound, driving a 2013 Kia Soul behind Ferneau. The juvenile driver stated that he dozed off slightly and struck the back end of Ferneau’s a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The juvenile driver was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. No injuries were reported.

Jan. 31

ACCIDENT

At 9:38 a.m., Duane Best, 59, of Russellville, was heading south on South High Street and attempting to turn left into a parking area. He turned his vehicle in front of a vehicle driven by Britany Reedy, 30, of Sardinia, causing them to collide. Best was cited failure to yield while turning left. No injuries were reported.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Karie Price, 32, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.

Brad Kelch, 44, of Hillsboro, was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.
