The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

INCIDENTS/ARRESTS

At 11:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to investigate a complaint in the 100 block of East North Street. As a result, Thomas Vance, 41, of Hillsboro, was arrested for domestic violence and failure to appear on a bench warrant. He is being held at the Highland County Jail with no bond.

At approximately 5:40 p.m., the police department received a call of an altercation taking place between two individuals in the 100 block of Muntz Street. After investigation, it was found that a verbal and physical altercation took place between Leda McClure, 19, of Hillsboro, and Tevaughn Horsley, 32, of Hillsboro. An officer concluded that McClure was the primary aggressor between the two and received a written citation for disorderly conduct.

At 6:11 p.m., the police department received a call from an individual reporting an altercation between a male and female at the intersection of South Elm and West South streets. Officers responded to the location and identified the two individuals as Leda McClure, 19, of Hillsboro, and Tevaughn Horsley, 32, of Hillsboro. Due to this second altercation in public within such a short time frame, both individuals were placed under arrest for persistent disorderly and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.

At 7:05 p.m., after receiving information that led to investigation, Brandon Pointer, 40, of Hillsboro, was arrested for domestic violence. Pointer was being held at the Highland County Jail with no bond.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Nathan Montgomery, 24, of Sardinia, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Steven Noschang, 54, of Williamsburg, was cited for improper start.
