Spring sports student-athletes were recognized at Monday Greenfield Exempted Village School Board meeting for their achievements in baseball, softball and track and field.

Those students are: baseball — Kaden Penwell, All-FAC and 1st team all-district; Andrew Potts, 2nd ream all-district; Jayden Allison, honorable mention all-district; Hayden Hice, special mention all-district; and Gavin Warren, special mention all-district; softball — Leah Lovett, 1st team all-district; Kenzie Wise, honorable mention all-district; Harley Peabody, honorable mention all-district; and Brieann Cummins, honorable mention all-district; girls track and field — Lily Barnes – FAC champion in shot put and discus, district champion in discus, regional qualifier in shot put, and discus state qualifier; Mylie Lovett, FAC champion and regional qualifier in high jump; Becca Bergstrom, FAC champion and regional qualifier in pole vault; Brenna Wright, district champion in 100 and 300 hurdles and state qualifier in 100 hurdles; Luca Matesic, long jump, regional qualifier; Ryan Butterbaugh, 300 hurdles regional qualifier; Leah Lovett, discus regional qualifier; 4 x 100 relay team of Ryan Butterbaugh, Brenna Wright, Katie Cook and Luca Matesic, district champions and state qualifiers; 4 x 400 relay team of Kaitlyn Jett, Luca Matesic, Ryan Butterbaugh and Becca Bergstrom, regional qualifier; and 4 x 200 relay team of Katie Cook, Anna Eikenberry, Addison Olaker and Mylie Lovett, regional qualifier. Boys track and field — Michael Stevenson, discus, FAC Champion; and TD Matesic, 400 meter regional qualifier.
