On July 8, 2023, Jim and Lee Redkey hosted a 100th birthday celebration for Frieda Crum Redkey. Frieda has been a resident of Hillsboro for over 60 years, participating in numerous clubs, organizations and a local church. More than 65 people attended her celebration from Hillsboro; surrounding Ohio communities; her hometown in Louisa, Kentucky; Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
